Standard Course

The Standard course is recommended for students who wish to improve their general English while having enough time to enjoy Cape Town.
Standard-Plus Course

The Standard-Plus course is recommended for students who wish to focus on specific areas.
In the mornings participants take part in the Standard course.
One-to-one lessons are scheduled for the afternoon. The lessons are designed around the specific needs and wants of the student. A syllabus is decided on in consultation with the student at the beginning of the course through a needs analysis.
Intensive Course

The Intensive Course is recommended for students who want to practise their English while learning more about the South African context in which they are studying.
In the mornings participants take part in the Standard course.
The afternoon (Mon, Tue, Thu and Fri) lessons are less intensive than the morning lessons. Students will usually practise speaking, reading, listening and writing, and the lessons will be based around South African culture, history and current affairs. The lessons may include outings to local cultural sights, lessons using South African videos or songs, or debates on controversial issues in South Africa.
Business Course

The Business Course is recommended for students who use English mainly in business situations.
In the mornings participants take part in the Standard course.
The afternoon lessons cover the language skills needed in the workplace, such as negotiating, telephoning, presentations and writing reports. Only experienced Business Course teachers teach this course.

One-to-One Tuition is suitable for people who need to improve as quickly as possible and / or focus on specific areas.
Students can choose a focus of study when booking One-to-One lessons. The exact needs within the focus of study are then established at the beginning of the course through a needs analysis.
