Welcome to Good Hope Studies

Good Hope Studies is an International English language school in Cape Town, South Africa. We offer English language courses at our two campuses, one in Newlands and the other in the City Centre of Cape Town. Further we offer CELTA courses, and Internship-, Work- and Volunteer programmes.

Each year we receive students of all ages from 50 different countries. They enjoy first-class facilities in the best possible locations. 

We belong to IALC, the International Association of Language Centres, an organisation for quality schools around the world. Regular, strict onsite inspections are a guarantee of high quality service.

Our Programme

We offer English language courses for adults, and group programmes for juniors and adults. Our students choose between General and Business English courses as well as Exam preparation courses (Cambridge, IELTS, TOEFL). 

For accommodation, you can choose between host-families (highly recommended), our own Student Residence or our own Student House (for long term students).

The Internship Programme (unpaid work experience), Work Programme (paid work) and Volunteer Programme can be booked with or without an English language course.

For English language teachers we offer the CELTA teacher training course.
