Table Mountain

Table Mountain is the most famous landmark in Cape Town. With the cableway you can reach the top of Table Mountain in just a few minutes. From there you enjoy a breathtaking view of the city.

Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens

Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens is not only for flower lovers. It holds an incredible range of plant species, all of which are found nowhere else. The unique Cape Floral Kingdom is one of the world's great botanical kingdoms. In summer, concerts take place in the Gardens.

The Constantia Vineyards

The Cape region is a world famous producer of high quality wines. The Constantia Vineyards are amongst the oldest vineyards in South Africa and spoil the visitor with their unique architecture and the beauty of the place.

The Cape of Good Hope

The Cape of Good Hope is world famous and is part of a large national park. The school offers regular trips to this beautiful spot where "two oceans meet".

Robben Island

Nelson Mandela served most of his time in prison on Robben Island. Today the island is a museum and a world heritage site. After a 30 minute ride on a speed boat, you can follow a guided tour trough the prison and take a drive around the island.

The V&A Waterfront is a popular entertainment spot and working harbour. It is equally frequented by tourists and capetonians.

Some of many ways to make your trip special:

  • Drive up Table Mountain or Signal Hill and enjoy the sunset. Have a drink with your friends, but note that it's not a good idea to go on your own.
  • Visit some of the many wine farms and do some wine-tasting. Some farms even offer a picnic lunch. A must!
  • Have a picnic at Camps Bay beach.
  • Hike up Table Mountain. Either you start at Kirstenbosch (about 3 hours) or at the lower cableway station (1,5 hours).
  • Go horse-riding along Noordhoek beach. Don't worry if you have never been on a horse before.
  • Watch the whales at Hermanus (July to October).
  • Visit the District Six museum.
  • Enjoy the sunset at Blue Peter in Bloubergstrand.
