Citizens from all countries which are not regarded by the South African government as high-risk countries can enter South Africa again from 1st October 2020. The only additional requirement is a negative PCR test result that is not older than 72 hours, which will allow you into the country without having to quarantine first.
Bring a face shield or some masks, a tablet or laptop and hand sanitiser and you'll be ready to enjoy your language travel experience.
We have two smaller campuses instead of one large school as well as a large garden to teach in at Newlands and since June 2020 we have gained much experience in teaching face to face while following Covid-19 safety regulations. In addition, these are some of the measures we take:
Classes are run at 50% of their capacity.
“No touch” sanitising stations, social distancing stickers, and information posters keep students and staff safe and informed.
The temperature of everyone on the premises is taken on a daily basis.
Our host-families have received COVID-19 training in order to be able to provide the best possible experience.
