Why Architectural Technology?

This 1-year course is designed for the architecture enthusiast and introduces technical drawing, design fundamentals, and green and sustainable design. It prepares you to understand the basics of architectural drawing, construction methods, materials and finishes, model building, and styles of architecture.
This also includes business basics like project management and professional practice management for architectural technologists and how to start your own business.

Inscape is the only institution in South Africa to offer a registered and accredited Higher Certificate in Architectural Technology. Many graduates continue studying further in associated fields after this undergraduate course such as Architecture, Architectural Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Civil engineering, Urban Design, Project Management & Design.
