Groot Constantia Wine Farm
Join us today as we explore South Africa’s very first vineyards in the oldest wine region in the world (outside of France) at Groot Constantia. Learn how their wine is made during an informative cellar tour followed by a wine tasting.

Soup Kitchen - Volunteer Experience
Today we will help with a feeding programme in a previously disadvantaged community; learn more about the life and culture of the residents while also having the opportunity to give something back to the community. Your donation will be assisting the Soup Kitchen

Split into teams or choose to be “every man/woman for him or herself” in today’s adrenalin pumping activity. There are different fields you can choose from on the day.

3 DAY Garden Route Adventure - Public Holiday Special -
3 DAY Adventure Tour to the Garden Route. Go canoeing in Wilderness, spot the Big 5 on Safari, go for a walk in Tsitsikamma, get up close and personal with an African Elephant (optional) or do the highest bungee in the world (optional). Contact us for the full programme - activities(at)ghs.co.za

Cape Point - Full Day Tour
Visit the Cape of Good Hope via Chapman’s Peak Drive for the highlight of the day. Once you’ve explored the Park we will stop at the beach with the cutest penguins you will ever see!

Day Safari
The safari is led by an experienced guide who will share exciting inside stories and facts about your surroundings. All safaris are in an open 4 x 4 safari vehicle

Soccer - 5 a Side
Join your fellow students for a soccer game. The game will be played at a 5 a side field in the city area.

Dinner with a GHS Staff Member

Healing Through Horses - Volunteer Experience
Join our Healing Through Horses project, where your presence can spark joy and growth in children with mental and physical challenges. Walk beside a horse, guiding and supporting a child as they ride, and witness the power of connection, trust, and transformation.

Houtbay Night Market
Enjoy Friday evening in the company of your friends at Houtbay market with live music. The market trades in fine-food purveyors, organic merchants, gourmet products, seasonal items, plants & herbs, fresh produce, arts, crafts and more! After the evening we offer a transfer back to your accommodation.

Shark Cage Diving
Our route from Cape Town takes us past Hermanus and through to Kleinbaai. After breakfast we get on the boat to view Sharks in their natural habitat

Ocean Kayaking
Transfer to Houtbay or Simonstown where we take on the Ocean in a Kayak

Terms & Conditions
- It is your responsibility to cancel if you can’t attend a tour or activity.
- Some tours are subject to weather conditions.
- A minimum number of participants is required.
- If needed, a second bus can be arranged.
- After the tour, you will be dropped off at your accommodation.

You will be liable for the tour cost if you do not show up for the tour and have not cancelled in time. Cancellation times for short tours: 6 hours before departure. For day tours, weekend activities and tours longer than one day: 48 hours before departure.
You agree to the condition that, while every precaution will be taken for your safety and welfare and for the care of your possessions, you will hold blameless and indemnify all persons, Good Hope Studies (the School), CapeTowning Tours and all other organisations associated with this tour or activity, should any prejudice, loss, damage, illness or injury occur to you during this tour/activity. This includes an indemnity against recovery of costs resulting from damage, loss and/or medical conditions or hospitalisation.
The company reserves the right to change the itinerary, accommodation, and transport along the way should circumstances dictate. Many of these outdoor activities are weather dependent, which could result in changes to the itinerary. The guide will try his or her best to arrange events according to prevailing weather conditions.
