Who is it for?

South Africa offers some of the world's best surfing locations. Cape Town, surrounded by two oceans, offers ideal conditions for sufers who are absolute beginners, but also for the more advanced.

Muizenberg beach isn't only the best spot to learn or improve your surfing skills, it is also a stunning place to spend the afternoon!

Whoever wants to combine an English course with surf lessons in the afternoon and in this way experience what a lot of young people in South Africa love doing, is welcome to join this combined programme.

An English level of Pre-intermediate or above is required.

Compare our prices with others, but keep in mind that our lessons take 50 minutes each and that our classes are intensive, with a maximum of 10 students in a class.

Course details

In the morning, you participate in the General English 16 Course (Monday to Thursday). Alternatively, you can participate in the General English 20 Course (Monday to Friday).

On 4 afternoons during the week, you are taken to Muizenberg beach with a private transfer where you will enjoy surf lessons. Each lesson takes 90 minutes and is conducted by a qualified surfing instructor.
Included is the use of the surf school facilities as well as the rental of the surfboard and wetsuit.

Levels

The English course for this combined programme is available to students whose English level is Pre-intermediate level (A2+/B1) or above. The surf course is suitable for absolute beginners as well as intermediate and advanced surfers.
